Happy Dr. Seuss Week. The book consisting of just 50 words, was the result of a bet between Seuss and his publisher Bennet Cerf. Upon Completing the Cat in The Hat, (225 words) Cerf wagered that Seuss could not complete an entire book using such few words.

One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish is a children’s book written in 1960, by Dr. Seuss. It is a simple rhyming book with a freewheeling plot. The story follows a boy and a girl, and the amazing animals they have for friends. The Book was followed by Green eggs & Ham.
